Training and promoting diversity
Training is a decisive issue and a driver for promotion in all of the Company’s business lines. Accordingly, Eurovia has two international training centres in France (the Gevrey-Chambertin campus for roadway-related trades and Mérignac campus for management).
At the same time, all operations in other countries are setting up specific programs, for example, mobile training in Canada and qualifying training in France, the Czech Republic, and the United Kingdom. In all, more than 760,000 hours of training was delivered in 2013 throughout the world.
Prior to recruitment, Eurovia is actively involved with schools and employment professionals to develop qualifying courses of study as well as potential candidates for its various business lines. Strategic workforce planning allows us to monitor and forecast business developments and determine short-term and medium-term needs in terms of professional skills.
Eurovia also aims to contribute to back-to-work initiatives for disadvantaged segments of the population, particularly unskilled youths and other people outside the job market.
