Eurovia et ElectReon mettent en œuvre un projet pilote de route à recharge électrique par induction en Allemagne

[11/26/2020] Eurovia and ElectReon are implementing a pilot project for an inductive charging road in Germany

Following the signing of an exclusive collaboration agreement for the promotion and construction of in-road inductive charging systems in Germany, France and Belgium, Eurovia and ElectReon today announced a first project, promoted by German energy supplier EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG in Karlsruhe.

The project, which is a first in Germany, initially aims to equip a 100 metre stretch of road at the EnBW training centre (90 metres of dynamic load / 10 metres of static load) by early 2021. The second phase will see the building of a 600 metre section of public road linking the training centre to the city of Karlsruhe, which the city’s public transport company intends to use to charge its buses.

Through their partnership, Eurovia and ElectReon will be in a position to offer a full range of in-road inductive solutions.
