British Columbia - BA Blacktop wins a prize
On December 2, 2011, BA Blacktop Ltd. was presented the British Columbia Ministry of Transportation Deputy Minister Award of Excellence as Contractor of the Year for its work on the Marine Drive / Lions Gate Transit Priority Project.
The project involved reconstruction of the north approach to the bridge and the construction of a new five lane Marine Drive Overpass, complete with a transit-only lane.
BA Blacktop was recognised for delivering the Project Safely and successfully under the challenging conditions of working within one of the busiest traffic corridors in British Columbia.

USIRF awards
USIRF, France’s roadway industry association, awarded prizes as part of its safety competition, open to all roadway construction companies in the country.
Eurovia won over half the prizes, that is, 6 of 11 awards, thanks to seven entities (one prize was even shared by two separate entities).

France - A81 Rennes, Inauguration of the Pont Lagot roadway
This past November 26, the new Pont Lagot roadway located on motorway A81 was officially inaugurated. The 18-month project was led by the Eurovia de Rennes division, in collaboration with teams from VINCI Terrassement.
The new roadway will enter into service on December 6 and will improve the flow of traffic in the sector located northwest of the by-pass. Its dual 3-lane configuration on highway RN 12 will result in better traffic conditions from Rennes to Saint-Brieuc.

Czech Republic : Vysocanska Avenue officially opened to traffic
On November 28, Vysocanska Avenue was officially inaugurated with Bohusla Svoboda, Mayor of Prague, Tomas Cocek, Director, State Fund of Transport Infrastructure, and Martin Borovka, Chief Executive Officer, Eurovia CS in attendance. The new 5-kilometre road, which was opened to cars for the first time as part of the event, is designed to ease traffic and relieve congestion in urban areas.

"Drive for life competition" at Ringway
From May to November 2011, Ringway (Eurovia in the United Kingdom), is running a competition called « Drive for life » the aim of which is to promote the awareness of road risk and also to make employees more aware of the environmental impact of using vehicles. This competition is extending to all of Ringway’s employees.
