Eurovia’s research centre rewarded
The International Road Federation (IRF) bestows a Global Road Achievement Award
(GRAA) to Eurovia’s research centre for its low-temperature mastic asphalt, Viasphalt® BT.
This year, the IRF honoured 11 award-winners from 6 countries who have contributed to the
development of the road industry.

Environmental directorship appointment
Christine Deneriaz joined Eurovia on February 15, 2011 as the Director, Environment.
Ms. Deneriaz holds a degree in Engineering from Ecole de Géologie de Nancy and a DESS in
Management. In 1990, she joined Cochery Bourdin Chaussé, where she held the positions of
Environmental Manager in 1994 and 1995 and Technical Director at Eurovia’s southeastern
delegation in France until 1999.

Acquisition of Laporte
Signature Group, a subsidiary of Eurovia, has just acquired the assets of groupe Laporte
in the road signs and markings sector.
The acquisition of groupe Laporte’s assets allows Eurovia to strengthen its position in the road
signs and markings market in France.

Acquisition of Tarmac
Eurovia today finalised the acquisition of 97 Tarmac quarries in France, Germany, Poland and
the Czech Republic.
At the request of the national competition authorities, Eurovia is undertaking to divest
six quarries in France and three in the Czech Republic.
