Tricouche®, a patented long service life structure for pavements subject to heavy traffic, is made of two layers of high modulus Renfovia® asphalt mix separated by a lower modulus layer of either Grave mousse® or asphalt base course.
With its low thickness, Tricouche® provides fatigue resistance superior to that of traditional techniques and prevents the propagation of cracks toward the wearing course. The Tricouche® structure saves materials and lengthens pavement service life.
