Recyclovia® is a process in which pavements are recycled in situ using a cold bituminous binder emulsion or foamed bitumen. It is used to refurbish surface layers of flexible or semi-rigid pavements to a depth of approximately 150 mm. As part of Eurovia's environmental commitment, Recyclovia® limits the use of natural materials; and because it is produced and laid without heating, the process generates energy savings. It is cost effective, reducing the cost of transporting additional materials to the worksite and of removing worksite materials to landfill. It is easy to lay and can be applied rapidly with compact equipment, reducing disruption for users.
