In the autumn of 2005, Eurovia handed over the Line T1 light rail extension between the Perrache train station and the Confluence museum, on which it worked in close cooperation with its Czech subsidiary specialised in rail laying (SSZ).
Meanwhile, the Léa light rail line was inaugurated in December 2006. Eurovia was responsible for all concrete infrastructure (between Part-Dieu and Lacassagne), development of the Boulevard de la Villette, all intersections of the track laid on ballast between Lyons and Meyzieu and a bicycle track made of honey-coloured porous mix.
Starting in February, and for a period of 20 months, the teams are now working on two Line T4 contracts: the rail line and the facade to facade works in the northern section. In addition, Eurovia is part of the RhônExpress consortium that won the contracts to build the infrastructure of the 9 km of new tracks and the maintenance centre for the Leslys concession, the tram-train that will connect the Part Dieu train station with Saint-Exupéry Airport. Work will get under way in 2008 and the line is scheduled to open in the autumn of 2009.
