entry into service of the Brest tramway
On March 18, 2010, Eurovia Bretagne launched construction of the first Brest Métropole Océane tramway line with an entry-into-service target date of June 23, 2012.
For a little over two years, teams from Eurovia Bretagne and ETF-Eurovia Travaux Ferroviaires carried out all infrastructure-building and track-laying tasks for this 14-km-long network serving 27 stations. During peak periods, over 70 teams worked closely together. On June 23, these same teams were proud to attend the entry-into-service ceremony on the target date set at the beginning of the construction phase. Also in attendance were several enthusiastic elected officials and residents of Brest.
