United-Kingdom: Eurovia Infrastructure selected in Leicestershire
Eurovia Infrastructure in the United-Kingdom has been selected as the preferred contractor to undertake a large scheme in Leicestershire, through the Midlands Highways Alliance “Medium Scheme Framework 2” (MSF2). The A50 scheme for Leicestershire County Council includes major alterations to two roundabouts, as well as a large signalised junction directly outside Leicestershire County Hall.
Following a period of essential Early Contractor Involvement (ECI), work is expected to begin this summer and be completed in 2016.
Simon Willis, Managing Director of Eurovia Infrastructure Limited, said: “This award is our largest single award under the new framework to date.”
Eurovia Infrastructure Limited was one of six companies to be appointed last year to the four-year framework which enables the 21 Midlands Highways Alliance members to appoint contractors for major construction schemes up to £5m.
