This offering falls into a number of broad categories:
- visual warnings by means of enhanced road legibility: introduction of appropriate road marking and road signs, development of markings and equipment that have high visibility at night and in rainy weather and use of coloured surfacings (Viacolor®, Agrévia®),
- development of dedicated traffic lanes in cities through the installation of permanent lane separators (such as concrete separation systems) to enhance the safety of the various road users and surfacing with products tailored to pavement use: Salviacim® for public transport lanes, Antikvia® for pedestrian pavements and mastic asphalt, highly appreciated, for pavements used by bicyclists and roller skaters.
- construction of roundabouts at dangerous intersections, for which Eurovia has developed construction plans and surfacing structures suitable for strong shear stresses as well as streamlined construction methods,
- improved roadholding through the development of a range of surfacings with very high skid resistance tailored to different contexts, such as Microvia® and Rugovia® asphalt mixes, Drainovia® porous asphalt and Gripfibre® cold microasphalt surfacings. For accident-prone areas, Viagrip® provides outstanding skid resistance resulting in a strong reduction in braking distances.
- passive safety with the installation of safety equipment - concrete, wood and metal safety barriers - to reduce reduce impact severity when the vehicle leaves the road.
