Attentive to the needs of its customers and of road users, Eurovia has made its Research and Development policy one of the drivers of its development.

Eurovia's Research and Development programme is focused on three main themes: sustainable development (recycling of industrial by-products, noise abatement, energy savings, etc.), road safety (improved skid resistance of road surfacings, creation of dedicated lanes, etc.) and management of road infrastructure (design of surfacings for refurbishing existing roads, products for routine maintenance, etc.).

Eurovia's research organisation encompasses a Research Center in Bordeaux, 7 regional laboratories in France and four central laboratories and 15 regional laboratories in its international subsidiaries. Apart from its research activities, the Eurovia technical network provides advice and support to the company's operational teams on the ground, helping them design and implement innovative and effective solutions.

To support its research policy, which is open to the most recent scientific and technological findings, Eurovia has formed partnerships with universities in France and abroad as well as with a wide variety of road laboratories and industrial companies. Eurovia also takes part in a large number of European research programmes.
