Eurovia VBU and Eurovia Beton complete the Nuthetal triangle a year ahead of schedule
The Nuthetal motorway triangle, near Berlin, was inaugurated into service on July 8, 2009, just before the popular summer holiday season. Eurovia VBU (Berlin division) and Eurovia Beton took part in the demolition of the old motorway, excavation, construction of an 11.8-km road segment, and engineering structures. The project was delivered a year ahead of schedule. It was carried out using a new construction time-compression model that optimizes daylight; as a result, two teams relayed each other during daylight hours.
