Philippe Chavent, Chief Executive Officer Rail and Specialities
Born in 1968, a graduate engineer from the École des Hautes Études de l’Ingénieur (HEI), Philippe Chavent has spent his entire career within the VINCI Group. Starting in 1991 as a works engineer at Sogea Nord (VINCI Construction), he went on to be a business unit manager and then regional director of various VINCI Construction subsidiaries in France. In 2004, he relocated to Rabat and became Regional Director of VINCI Construction subsidiaries in Morocco. At the end of 2006, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Sogea Satom (VINCI Construction’s Africa Division), then Chairman in 2008. From 2010, his scope of responsibility was extended to include the general management of VINCI Construction’s Dom-Tom subsidiaries and then subsidiaries based in Europe. He served as Chairman of VINCI Construction Filiales Internationales (VCIN) until 2016, when he joined VINCI Autoroutes as Operations Director. In 2019, he joined Eurovia’s rail subsidiary (ETF) as Deputy General Manager. Chief Executive Officer Rail and Specialities since 1 January 2020, Philippe Chavent oversees the operations of ETF and specialist subsidiaries (demolition and road equipment).
