Création de la ZAC Intercampus à Amiens

[3/3/2021] Building the Intercampus business park in Amiens

Eurovia’s Amiens division has just opened Ambroise Paré boulevard in Amiens, a carriageway that is nearly one kilometre long. It is one of the main arteries in the Intercampus business park that covers an area of 80 hectares. Amiens work teams have been working at the site since 2013 on three successive work packages as part of a project awarded in its entirety to Eurovia.

Peak project activity was attained in 2020 with the development of a connecting roundabout, which was built without interruption to traffic, including the conveyance of abnormal loads.

The Intercampus business park is an innovative, multi-purpose district that brings together various sectors of activity, including a leading-edge healthcare cluster, a right-of-way route for electric buses, a geothermal heat-generating network, 8 hectares of family gardens, and an orchard designed specifically to conserve old species.

For the most part, clear and permeable materials were used to build Ambroise Paré boulevard in an effort to favour rainwater drainage and reduce urban heat-island effects.
