Rehabilitation of Port Victor and Port d'Issy-les-Moulineaux

In 2012, Ports de Paris launched a major rehabilitation program for the infrastructures of Port Victor (Paris XVe) and Port d’Issy-les-Moulineaux (92). These two industrial ports are located right beside each other on the left bank of the Seine. The purpose of their rehabilitation is to enhance the image of the port site along Paris, to optimize its operation and to open it to the public outside of industrial activity periods, namely on weekends. The major challenge for implementing this program is to carry out the work while allowing operations to continue as much as possible at the sites, and reducing the impact on industrial production. The business group run by Eurovia Ile-de-France Saint-Gratien (representative) and made comprised of Dodin (VINCI Construction) and Cegelec (VINCI Energies) won, by being the best bidder, two consecutive contracts from Ports de Paris to carry out this program for the services described below. Rehabilitation of industrial ports: creation of a public port passing though the crossing work (ground surface and jetty), renovation of the existing port areas (roads, service roads, parking, quaysides, structures), complete retrofitting of the lighting and setting up of a lighting plan, reorganization of the service and access routes as well as installation of monitoring systems, implementation of security on the site (fencing, accessibility, paths), creation of river works. Setting up of a passenger stop-over zone: creation of two floating stop-over zones, creation of a treed pedestrian esplanade, creation of floating gardens At the same time, all companies on the site— Lafarge Granulats, Cemex Bétons, Raboni, Compagnie des Sablières de la Seine & Unibéton —had to plan the renovations and rehabilitation of their sites with the Ports de Paris projects in mind These projects involve the rehabilitation, demolition and reconstruction of the industrial facilities, as well as soil rehabilitation and the reconstruction of a jetty. The Saint-Gratien agrency also was awarded all work contracts for these tenants. The drafting of comprehensive offering and the synergy of the VINCI group companies involved in the project enabled us to provide for a returning client of the agency with the management and reassuring solutions for a highly commercial and image-driven operation for the Ports de Paris.
