France: sanitation works at the Nice airport
As part of the work to extend the Nice tramway, which will serve the Nice airport starting in 2018, a Eurovia consortium composed of Eurovia’s Nice division (lead) and TP Spada is carrying out the diversion of the tramway’s wet and dry networks in front of air terminals T1 and T2, for Metropolis Nice Côte d'Azur.
Since the two terminals will remain open during the consortium’s work, the worksite in the immediate vicinity must be organized to ensure no disruptions to the flow of passengers, buses and taxis—a logistical task at which Eurovia’s divisions are highly experienced. After Rennes, Orly and Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle, Nice is the fourth French airport that Eurovia has worked on or near in 2016.
This project represents 4,000 hours of integration work.
Work began in July 2016 and will be completed in August 2017.
