Integration and follow-up
Eurovia is committed to developing young talent. Every year, the Company provides over 1,200 internship opportunities and 1,300 apprenticeship contracts, over 500 professionalization and training contracts, 100 end-of-study projects for engineering students, and numerous opportunities as part of the volunteer for international business experience (VIE) program.
In efforts to diversify our team profiles, recruitment is open to candidates who do not have a diploma in the field of public works but who possess experience in our trades. Internal training is provided to these candidates to allow them to enhance their skill sets.
When they join the Company, new employees receive personalized follow-up in the form of mentorship and the sharing of experience. As part of the “Day 1” training program, Eurovia informs all new hires of general safety guidelines and risk-prevention in the workplace. New recruits are also trained on workplace prevention and safety in accordance with VINCI Group’s commitment to occupational health and safety and its “zero work accidents” objective. This policy has enabled the Company its accident frequency rate by half in 5 years.
